Student Blogging – Here any student can blog about a certain topic which other students can comment and provide feedback.Students will their own profile and each student can contribute independently.

So you have decided to set up your classroom blog.Although there are many options available over internet , I would only talk about the specific ones which I think are very easy to set-up.

Self Hosted Blog
All the sites listed above offer FREE blogs. These comes with some limitations but should be good enough for Classroom blogging. Self Hosted blog like WordPress.org, gives you greater flexibility in terms of the choice of URL,unlimited space , ads etc, but you probably don’t know how to start a blog on self hosting. You can read my Step by Step Guide if you are looking to set-up a self hosted blog for your classroom. But, this may not be the best option for you, unless you are from an IT field or you have an IT department that can take care of the stuff, although this might be a good educational experience.
